Why did the pool vote fail? Does this community not recognize that the pool could be a summertime attraction to the city of Washington? A step in the revitalization of our community....We've driven to Marysville, Beatrice and even Seneca to experience their new pools. Washington's pool is averaging 3-4 down days per summer because of maintenance issues. It's only a matter of time before this pool will even be open. I urge the council to put this on the November ballot and ask the patrons of Washington to support a new pool.
