Treasure Hunt space
Space is still available at the stone barn at the fairgrounds if anyone wants to set up for the US Highway 36 Treasure Hunt next weekend. I have three spaces together and one by itself. These spaces are 8x10 feet each and they are free, first come first serve. Contact me if you're interested.

Why nothing on the Morrowville situation? Don't have a conflict of interest.....do you?
Still no charges. It is being investigated by the State Attorney General's office and we've been trying to get comment from Ashley Anstaett in that office. I've said all along we won't have anything until charges are filed. Would you want your name attached to rumors if it turns out not to be true?
And as for conflict of interest, Tom Parker has been assigned to the story so there will be no conflict for me.
And if I let conflicts of interest affect me, do you think I would have done the in-depth coverage I did of the internet child porn charges against my former pastor?
I've always said, my job is often awkward and uncomfortable since we live in such a small county, but it is still my job and I take it seriously.
We just received a "no comment" from the attorney general's office, which we were expecting since the case is still under investigation.
hfh..what about this story would make it a conflict of interest? That comment makes no sense? Until information is gathered, there is nothing to report. If you want to catch up on the gossip or rumors, just go to the coffee shops! I'm sure the truth is circulating there.

How about changing the format where new post go to the top instead of the bottom, that way when you click on a subject you can read newest first without re-reading all the old post...
I'd love to do change the order, wchs108. Do you know how? I've looked over the settings and can't figure out if that is an option.
